A very aesthetic and beautiful matched pair of coral halves that have been pseudomorphed by Chalcedony/Agate. Chalcedony, in this rounded, banded form, is referred to as Agate. This piece was sawn in half and the faces polished, displaying the brown, banded Agate lining and the white to blue and amber-brown botryoidal interior. This piece is from the Withlacoochee River, FL and happens to be the Florida state stone. A unique and exceptional piece in excellent condition.
