I know Amethyst plates are a dime a dozen, and it seems every Amethyst plate I look at usually has chipped terminations, excessive contact, dull luster, poor color – or all of the above. But this plate really stood out from the normal fare: it’s an oversized plate of unusually large, transparent, gemmy Amethyst crystals that have incredible luster and color, and all of the terminations are perfect. I have rarely seen a plate as beautiful, flawless and showy as this one.
