A rare specimen from the Comstock Lode made famous for its Silver production – few specimens were preserved. This plate features a layer of colorless Quartz on matrix transitioning to and terminating in light-purple Amethyst crystals. A beautiful, rare piece. There are some incomplete terminations, but overall in very good condition.
