A very aesthetic and unique piece featuring a large matrix of white, “sparkling” microcrystalline Quartz hosting numerous lustrous, transparent Amethyst crystals from the well-know location of Piedra Parada, Veracruz, Mexico. Some of the crystals are sceptered, some are doubly terminated, and all are pristine. I have viewed literally hundreds, possibly thousands of Veracruz Amethysts over the years and have never seen anything resembling this piece and combination.The contrast, color and crystal formation are superb – no damage.
