Azurite Sun
$390.00
This specimen features a white Kaolinite matrix hosting a single disc-shaped concretion of royal-blue Azurite crystals. The Azurite grew between layers in the Kaolinite and due to extreme pressure the Azurite was compressed and forced to grow laterally, radiating outward, thus frequently forming disc-shaped concretions, and in some instances like this specimen, a near-perfect circle. The color, contrast and symmetry is amazing – a superb and aesthetic specimen in excellent condition.
