This large piece features a coating of silky-green fibrous Malachite with a couple small patches of Azurite on a brown matrix. But there’s more – on the back is a coating of deep-blue, lustrous micro-crystalline Azurite with a smaller coating of the same Malachite on the same brown matrix. The contrast, luster and color is wonderful and it is in excellent condition. But the problem may be deciding how best to display it. My vote is for the Malachite side . . .
