A stunning specimen of light-golden scalenohedral Calcite crystals. The bottom half of the specimen features a cluster in a stellate formation ( stellate – radial aggregates of crystals radiating from a “star” like point) while the top half features a larger cluster in more of a radial formation (radial – aggregate of crystals arranged in an orientation outward from a common point). The crystals have a soft, velvety luster and are highly translucent and the entire cluster is sitting on a thin remnant of matrix. This piece has amazing symmetry and an incredible flower-like presentation. The crystals are all intact with no damage which is amazing in and of itself. A truly one-of-a-kind piece!
