A cluster of modified Calcite rhombohedrons – really unique and uncommon crystal formation. The Calcite crystals are colorless and transparent to highly translucent with a glassy luster. The Calcite crystal top and center is especially large and impressive. On the right side of the specimen there is a contact/cleavage, but I must say that this perfect cleavage/contact is like a pane of glass – rather than distracting it’s a perfect example of Calcite’s flawless cleavage planes. This is an awesome piece with no damage except for the aforementioned contact/cleavage.
