A huge, lustrous, highly translucent to transparent Calcite rhombohedron crystal with modified edges. But what really sets this piece apart is the light, epitaxial layer of Pyrite on the Calcite rhomb, particularly on the crystal edges, giving it dimension and contrast. This is a really beautiful and eye-catching specimen. The Calcite crystal and the rest of the piece is in excellent condition.
