Cavansite is one of those minerals with it’s indescribable vivid-blue color that captures your attention. This particular specimen hosts one very large spherical cluster of deep blue Cavansite right in the top-center of the contrasting matrix. I simply cannot accurately capture the color in the pictures I took, so once again (I know you hate to hear it and I hate to say it), it’s much better in person! The crystal cluster is flawless, but to add a perfect touch, there is a small, colorless, transparent Calcite rhombohedron attached to the side of the Cavansite cluster. This piece is superb! No damage.
