This is a large, colorful specimen of Chrysocolla rough – it is completely natural and unaltered. On the “front” surface you can even see a botryoidal formation. Chrysocolla is a semi-precious stone used for jewelry, carving and more. This particular rough is an example of a piece that a carver or jeweler would start with. This just caught me eye because of the color and even the contrast between the various shades of the Chrysocolla blue.
