Gypsum Desert “Rose”
An exceptionally large, rosette-shaped aggregate of intersecting sand-included lenticular reddish-brown Gypsum crystals, thus the name Desert “Rose”. I almost always pass on these anytime I see them because they’re chipped, broken, scratched, or worse. But when I saw this one it was different and stood out – it was intact and damage free, uniquely shaped, large and free standing. So I got it! A very unique piece in excellent condition.
