Hematite, Botryoidal
$160.00
A fascinating piece of botryoidal Hematite. It is a very large specimen with an eye-catching metallic luster. On the sides where the piece was removed from the surrounding material, you can see a “cutaway,” exposing the layering that took place over time to build up the bubbles or “grapes,” which is exactly what botryoidal means in Greek: bunch of grapes. And now you know!
