A very aesthetic specimen of white, microcrystalline Chalcedony on dark-grey Basalt matrix hosting numerous clusters of (right to left) pink to red-orange colored, translucent tabular Heulandite crystals. The progression of coloring of the Heulandite crystals is remarkable and I’m afraid the explanation of this progressive coloring is beyond my pay grade, but it is an exceptional piece with great contrast, luster and balance. In excellent condition.
