This is an amazingly aesthetic specimen featuring Heulandite seams on a matrix of microcrystalline Quartz. First there’s the large, long seam with clearly developed Heulandite crystals. Then there’s another, very fine seam with miniature Heulandite crystals. And finally, on the left side theres a couple of small groupings of visible Heulandite crystals. The contrast of the reddish-brown Heulandite with the white crystalline Quartz is stark, and the patterns of the veins of Heulandite are really striking. This is the only piece I’ve ever seen like this – it’s one of my favorites! In excellent condition.
