A stunning and exceptionally large piece featuring large green, fibrous, intersecting hemispherical aggregates of Malachite displaying a chatoyant, silky luster (Chatoyancy: an optical reflectance effect, as in “cat’s eye,” arising from the fibrous structure of a material . . . ). A little wordy, I know – but it’s exactly that unique luster that makes this particular habit of Malachite the most attractive and eye-catching (at least to me). An incredible display piece in excellent condition.
