This specimen hosts a cluster of lavender Calcite scalenohedra on a layer of slightly amethystine crystalline Quartz. It’s unusual to see a specimen with such contrasting halves – the large, lavender Calcite crystals across from the crystalline Quartz – like a line was drawn in the sand (no pun intended). I really like the aesthetics and symmetry of this piece. In excellent condition.
