A beautiful piece featuring translucent Mangano Calcite crystals in plumose aggregates. Plumose: “Featherlike aggregate in which many small crystals protrude out of a long, slender one.” (Minerals.net) These pink Calcite crystal formations are an uncommon occurrence, yet these flower-like crystal aggregates are absolutely amazing to see. Add to that a dark grey matrix and this is one serious eye-catching specimen! In excellent condition.
