A striking specimen of Mango Quartz from Colombia. These pieces are hard to find, and even harder to afford! I was able to come across a couple of pristine pieces with great color and pristine terminations yet very affordable. This particular pieces features intersecting crystals, including the large angled crystal exhibiting “split growth” where a crystal termination splits into numerous terminations. The front, vertical crystal is pristine, and all terminations showcase the famous mango color (believed to be inclusions of Halloysite). A beautiful, pristine piece of Mango Quartz.
