This is a really unique piece – just the sheer size of the main Mesolite sphere is impressive. Also, some might expect Mesolite to be a sphere of delicate needles, but in this case it is more globular with spiky protrusions (“bald”) likely due to geological shifts leading to pocket weathering. The contrast between the cream-colored Mesolite balls and the salmon-colored Stilbite matrix is awesome, and the small deposits of Mesolite within various crevices of the Stilbite creates the visual of the main Mesolite Sphere “melting.” An eye-catching piece for sure in excellent condition.
