I am especially intrigued by pieces that highlight a crystal on matrix, or in this case, a single hemispherical cluster or spray of needle-like Mesolite crystals on Chalcedony. What’s even more intriguing is that this spray is protected inside a partial vug, yet completely visible when displayed. A beautiful, aesthetic specimen, with excellent contrast, balance and crystal formation. In excellent condition.
