This is a truly unique piece: A very large, double-sided vug with both bugs lined with blue-gray Chalcedony and hosting numerous  white spheres (radial acicular crystal clusters) of Mordenite crystals. (The pics show a side view and then two sets of left/right vugs and closeups) The double vug formation is clearly seen externally. The contrast within the vugs is astounding, yet the contrast between the vugs and the outside surface of the vugs is even more striking. Mordenite being one of the rarer members of the Zeolite group makes this piece even more collectable. The only challenge I see is how to best display this piece – motorized rotating display stand?? A wonderful piece in excellent condition.
