This is a very large and unusual plate of intergrown Scolecite spheres. A unique presentation: rather than spheres of delicate needles, in this case it is more globular with short, spiky protrusions (“bald”) due to geological shifts leading to pocket weathering. Very aesthetic piece in excellent condition.
