This particular piece has likely been cleaned in order to expose a more pronounced color and luster. I know some prefer to leave copper untouched, and in the case of rarer Copper crystals, I couldn’t agree more. However, when it’s a Copper mass like this piece, I don’t mind a little shine for a collector to enjoy aesthetically.  I love the contrast of this piece, allowing the Copper to really stand out. In excellent condition.
