This is a massive plate hosting countless miniature Prehnite stalactites or “fingers.” These are not epimorphs where the Prehnite covers the original mineral and the original mineral subsequently dissolves leaving a hollow cast, but rather solid Prehnite stalactites. A very unusual and even rare occurrence which makes this piece unique and desirable. In great condition – a really nice piece and a great price for the size and uniqueness.
