In this specimen, Quartz has preserved the fan-like (tapered blades) crystal habits of Anhydrite, having overgrown and completely replaced the original Anhydrite crystals, on a bed of yellow Chalcedony. The blades are well formed and undamaged, in excellent condition – an awesome piece.
