A beautiful specimen that began with a vug in a dark brown matrix completely coated with several layers of rich-blue Chrysocolla and subsequently completely filled with lustrous, colorless crystalline Quartz. The contrast and color is superb and the Chrysocolla banding is spectacular, even more so under magnification. Great piece.
