As you may have guessed (or read) I’m not a fan of unnatural alterations to mineral specimens. Then why am I selling irradiated quartz? Simply because some people really like the look and the fact that the crystal formation is all natural with no alterations. This particularly cluster of Quartz crystals are nicely terminated and intersecting. There is also a self-healed fracture that is unique – a fracture caused by tectonic activity or temperature change that over time literally heals itself naturally. It’s a nice, clean piece for a great price.
