A very aesthetic specimen hosting numerous fan-shaped sprays (radial groupings) of transparent, colorless Scolecite crystals. Scolecite exhibits an acicular crystal habit (radiating cluster of needle-like crystals), and with this piece, the acicular habit is clearly displayed, but the proliferation of intersecting clusters is what makes this piece very unique if not somewhat rare. A fine white Chalcedony druse matrix helps hold it all together. A truly spectacular piece, and in excellent condition.
