This is a rare find for sure. This is a piece that features translucent colorless Chalcedony over acicular red-orange Scolecite. It’s a rare find, let alone one that is complete. In addition, the base of this specimen contains a second partial “sunburst” Scolecite. This is one of the finest red Scolecites I have ever seen and the balance and symmetry is amazing. A fantastic specimen in excellent condition.
