This is a quality specimen of a classic pink-red Burmese Ruby Spinel crystal on a white Calcite matrix. The Spinel crystal is gemmy, transparent, lustrous with sharp, defined octahedral faces. Finding quality Spinel matrix pieces is difficult at best, so it’s a pleasure to be able to present this beautiful and aesthetic piece. No damage.
