Stibnite on Matrix
Stibnite is often one of those minerals that the casual observer looks on and proclaims “no way that’s real!” This plate of Stibnite is one of those – it is covered with long, thin, metallic-grey prismatic Stibnite crystals that seem to have grown entirely randomly. In addition to the Stibnite, there are numerous clusters of transparent Calcite rhombohedra interspersed throughout the piece. Another of the draws of this piece is the incredible metallic luster of the Stibnite. This specimen is incredibly aesthetic and in excellent condition.
